My fork of ChristianLempa/boilerplates, a well-known template collection for IT pros and homelab enthusiasts. Christian Lempa creates educational tech content on YouTube, and this repo is his companion library of templates and configurations for the tools and technologies he covers.
What’s in it
The upstream repo collects ready-to-adapt configurations across the usual homelab and DevOps stack — the kind of starting points you reach for when standing up a new service and don’t want to write a config file from a blank page. Christian is upfront that products change over time and the templates track releases on a best-effort basis, which is a fair trade for free, curated starting points.
Why I keep a fork
Simple: reference material for the homelab. When I’m deploying something new on the Proxmox cluster or the Docker hosts, having a known-good template collection pinned in my own account means it’s there even if upstream reorganizes — and it gives me a base to diff my own configurations against. I haven’t made custom changes; this is a bookmark with benefits.
